At NECDG, we are committed to working closely with each client, from home owners to builders or a sales team, toward a collaborative design that enhances the space in which it resides.
With a combined thirty years in the residential and model home market, Teri and Kerry launched their own interior design firm in May 2013. Having completed projects throughout New England, NECDG is known for their contemporary spin on traditional styles, blending clean lines, restrained colors and layered textures to create timeless interiors.

Teri Carrier
PARTNER
Drawn to all things creative since her youth, Ms. Carrier knew early on that she would pursue a career in the arts. A chance meeting guided her into the field of interior design.
Teri Carrier received her Associates of Art in Interior Design from Mt. Ida College in 1987. Prior to launching NECDG with longtime colleague, Kerry Shedd, Teri spent 25 years in the interior design field at Design East Interiors working with many builders, developers, sales teams, etc. During her tenure, she worked on a variety of model homes, clubhouses and residential projects. Her enthusiasm, creativity and design success led to her promotion as Creative Director. In this position, she oversaw the design and completion of a multitude of projects.
Clearly modern in conception and execution, her work is infused with traditional elements and clean, classic lines, ranging in detail from ornate to minimalistic. Teri’s love of luxurious fabrics, interesting textures, insightful layering of colors and patterns combine with her unique sense of artistry, making Teri a leader in the model home and residential market.

Kerry Shedd

Ms. Shedd received her Bachelor's degree from Chamberlayne School of Design at Mt. Ida College in Newton, MA in 2006. Upon graduating, she was fortunate to work under the tutelage of Teri Carrier of Design East Interiors. Having begun her studies in Architecture at Roger Williams University, Kerry finds her skill in digital renderings of floor plans, elevations and design concepts giving The N. E. Collaborative Design Group an edge in providing clients a visual sequence to project development.
Kerry’s six years with the award-winning firm of Design East Interiors immersed her in a diversified range of projects that stimulated her personal style of N.E. chic charm that compliments her partner's contemporary sleek lines. Kerry blends the feel of warm hearths, and clean transitional simplicity, for home and office.
